How important is a good camera

Here is a brief but meaningful anecdote about photography, very popular among photographers and not in truth but still worthy of consideration. It can be an inspiration for all those who think that to make good photos should have a camera-equipped and super expensive.

A short story
One day not long ago, a rather well-known photographer held an exhibition of their works in a likewise known art gallery. Obviously, the presentation saw some of the most important and influential people in the industry and society as well as friends and relatives of the photographer. Among them was a lady, not exactly an expert in photography but well within fled into ones that count and that therefore it would be impossible to miss such an event.

Wandering through the photos on display and looking at them with curiosity, was left pleasantly surprised by the emotions that they were unable to awaken her and, although not clearly understood what were the techniques used to create those jobs, he decided to go for the compliments to the author and express his enthusiasm and admiration. He was so impressed that he invited the photographer in the photos at home and as a token of thanks and admiration offered to personally preparagli a delicious dinner, enjoying his passion for cooking, instead of the photo area where you felt very familiar.

The next day, therefore, the photographer went to the lady's house and, as promised, ate a good dinner, with dishes researched and masterfully prepared. He continued the evening hours and when it did for the photographer to leave the lady to the door and once again reiterated his appreciation for the pictures he had seen the day before.

Addressing the photographer said
Congratulations, some really beautiful pictures, worthy of his fame, surely she must have a great camera to take certain masterpieces.

The photographer replied calmly that much to the lady with a gentle voice:
Thank you again and congratulations to you for the excellent dinner, I've never eaten so well, he must surely have some good pots to be able to cook so well!

In conclusion
Obviously this is just a nice story but it sums up beautifully and effective concept. The photograph, as a form of art is primarily an expression of the personality of the individual making that translates into tangible key to the deepest emotions and way of seeing reality.

We must never let the medium influences the way we do photography. Photograph means, first of all learn to look, to perceive, to feel the world around us. As with all forms of art and craft, then it is natural that everyone looking for the tools that best help him achieve his own ends, leaving, however, that these are the last to declare the result.

Do not have a good photography equipment but, citing the great Henri Cartier-Bresson, means putting on the same axis head, eyes and heart, to create something unique and personal.
